About Me

My photo
Elaine
After growing up in Orlando, Florida (the land of the lakes), I ventured to Atlanta, GA to Agnes Scott College where I met my husband, Tom, who attended Georgia Tech. In order to avoid being drafted, Tom joined the Air Force as a communications officer. Our plan at the time was to stay in the required four years and then come back to Atlanta. Since we ended up living so many interesting places, we ended up staying in the Air Force for 24 years. We lived in Biloxi(MS), Vacaville(CA), Aviano(Italy), Ipswich(England), Norfolk(VA), Springfield(VA), Sumter(SC), Arlington(VA) and finally back to Atlanta. The definition of the website name is "something to say when you have nothing to say". I am hoping that I can make something to say out of what may seem to be nothing (a bit Jerry-Seinfield-esque). Our travels and experiences have made us what we are as individuals as well as a family. I hope that if no one else enjoys it, it will serve as a diary of our experiences for my family. I expect to also add comments, observations and opinions on current issues. May we all have fun doing this!
